Apply to be a Guest on Raising Healthy Mothers Podcast

Do you work with women during pregnancy and postnatally?

Do you have something interesting or unique to add to the podcast that I haven’t already covered?

Please fill in the form below with your details and a rough outline of what you do, your proposed topic and links to your social media and website. If I think you’d be a great fit for the podcast, I’ll be in touch with a link to book in for an interview. I tend to run interviews once a quarter for the following season, but I can be flexible if needed.

More information about being a guest on Raising Healthy Mothers

On Raising Healthy Mothers I talk to experts and practitioners who support mums to have the best start to motherhood, from conception, through pregnancy to childbirth and postnatally. There is so much amazing support out there for new mums, and I want to help get the message out! I also love learning how your motherhood journey (if applicable!) has informed your growth and development as a person, perhaps as a reason why you have gone down the path you are on now. I want to share lessons learnt from past experiences so that new mothers feel supported, knowing they are not alone.

Technical information

Microphone and headphones: You don't need to have a separate microphone, but ensure you have headphones that can be plugged into your device. This is to ensure the sound quality is the best it can be and avoid any echoes or feedback. If you have headphones with an integrated microphone that would be great too (the headphones that come with the iPhone, for example)

Internet connection: If at all possible, please use a computer or laptop plugged into your router rather than WiFi. If that's not possible, try and conduct the interview in the same room as your WiFi router or wherever it is least temperamental.

Choosing a location: Please choose a room that is quiet and has some soft furnishing and curtains in. This is to help reduce any echoes or background noise. I can edit out some background noise, but the less we start with the better! Please switch off your phone and laptop notifications.

Zoom: I use Zoom to record the interview. Please ensure you have downloaded the app onto your computer beforehand https://zoom.us/ and run a test to check your speakers and microphone are working before our scheduled interview date (Zoom will prompt you to do this when you first download it)

The Interview

Interview structure: I plan for interviews to be quite informal and conversational, but I send an outline and questions 1-2 days before the interview. If there are any specific questions or anything off-topic for you, please let me know no later than 2 days before the scheduled interview so I can accommodate. You can email these to tasha@tashadcruznutrition.com. Interviews tend to be around 30-45 minutes after editing, but please allow an hour for the whole session.

Before the interview: I won't hit record immediately so we'll have a few minutes to discuss any last minute things and orientate ourselves.

After the interview: Please send a photograph (head shot; preferably square and high quality) that I can use for social media graphics. I will let you know when I expect to publish the episode and I will send a graphic for you to share across your social media platforms and newsletters.

If you have any further questions or need anything else, please email me at tasha@tashadcruznutrition.com
