3 Key Tools for a Successful Breastfeeding Journey {S3E7}.jpg

Listen on:

Today on Raising Healthy Mothers I'm diving a bit deeper into one of the main things that can derail your breastfeeding journey - before it has even started. Now that I've completed my training, it seems really obvious, but it was such a lightbulb moment for me when I learn about it on the Mindful Breastfeeding Supporter Course.

I'm talking about uncovering your infant story. In the episode I'll discuss:

  • How we learn a new skill

  • What we learn about infant feeding throughout our life

  • How our brains can physically change and develop throughout life

  • 3 tools to change the way you think about infant feeding to ensure breastfeeding success

I wish I had known about the tools I'll discuss in this episode back when I was still pregnant. I was lucky enough to have a very smooth journey through breastfeeding, but I think it would have helped to sort through my thoughts and feelings around breastfeeding. I know that if things don't turn out the way you envisage, mindset is one of the most important things that can get you through it, and I'm not sure my mindset would have been strong enough!

In the Antenatal Mindful Breastfeeding Course, I guide you through using these tools and help you come up with a strategy to keep a strong mindset, whatever the challenges. To be the first in line to learn about the course, join the waiting list here: https://tashadcruz.com/waiting-list
